Quick Update

Just wanted to give you all an update on Jeremy. Jeremy had a root canal in January and 2 weeks ago he had a post put in. After the post was put in his face was swollen about triple its original size. They thought the tooth was infected or he had a hematoma from the novacain hitting a blood vessal. Well after 2 antibiotics and an incision, it just got worse. Including a reaction to one of the antibiotics. Anyway he went an oral surgeon today and they made a new incision and drained lots of infection ( in nice words). It was an infected hematoma. The Dr. said it was a like a balloon so full it was about to burst. Jeremys body wasn't allowing the antibiotics to get to the infection. Anyway although he is in lots of pain. I think we finally have it fixed! Thanks again for all your support!

Say Goodbye To February

I don't know about the rest of you but February has been an awful month for our family. Here is a quick run down of the month.
Jeremy knee surgery
Sick baby ear infections
Adelyns bday( that was a bright spot)
Jeremy face swells from some dental work
Kids sick with bad coughs.
Jeremy gets speeding ticket
Mom has a filling
Kids go to the dentist for the first time
Kenz needs a filling
Baby gets sick.
Baby gets sicker, take baby to doctor.
Yea! All the kids have RSV. Adelyn has it the worst(still has ear infections too)
Hundreds of $ spent at the pharmacy
Mom getting her wisdom teeth out
Jeremys mouth still swollen cant open it or eat much. Loses 10 lbs

We are happy to see February GO AWAY!!!!! I am not really trying to be negative or complain. Maybe just vent a little. But I do want to note that I have the most amazing neighbors ever!!! I couldn't have picked a better place to live. Thanks for all of you that have cared about us! We love you!

Our baby is 1

Adelyn turned one last week. Everyone always says how fast kids grow up. I haven't ever felt it that much until this last one. I can't believe she is already 1. It feels like I had her 6 mos. ago. She has brought so much to our family. She makes us laugh all day! Adelyn has always been a busy body. She crawled and pulled herself up at 6 mos. She was walking at 10 1/2 mos. Just like Cole she is a copy cat and loves to say words. She is such a fun girl and I can tell she is going to bring a lot of fun to our family in the future. I am sure most of you have seen her dancing videos, I guess she is just a talented little girl already. If you haven't seen her dancing video you should scroll down and she it. Yeah she can do the robot already!!! :) Here is a slideshow of her bday.

6 Things That Make Me Happy

Jeremy's Knee Surgery

Jeremy had his 4th knee surgery this week. He had his MCL fixed and some arthritis damage cleaned out. It went great and in a few more days he should be feeling a lot better. He is already trying to plan surgery on his left knee. I know, sounds fun right. If any of you don't know Jeremy very well he is quite accident prone. The best part of surgery is when is comes out. He is very comical.

25 Random Things About Me

This tag has been going around Facebook and I thought it was pretty good. And I don't have much to post. I am not going to tag anyone but if you read this you should do it too.

I'm just giving fair warning 25 things about me is way too many.It may take me a week to finish this. I am reading all of my other friends and you all way more clever than me. Maybe you guys are all just crazier than me.
1. I am obsessed with cars, if I were filty rich I would have as many as possible
2.I don't let my kids get dressed until they have eaten breakfast and lunch so they don't get there clothes dirty.
3.I love watching most sports and for some reason all the stats and junk that the announcers talk about stick in my brain and I know way too much about sports. Most of which I careless about.
4.I love bowling and would bowl everyday if I could afford it.
5.I wear the same socks at bowling every week until I bowl bad in them
6.I hate pictures of myself and recently realized I have been married 7 years and have like 5 pics of my husband and I since we have been married. Im trying to get over it.
7.I have a very ugly big toenail, I used to be very embarrassed about it but I dont care anymore.
8. I hate noise
9.I hit my elbow on something at least once a day
10.I can't sleep without a fan
11.I love making dinner for friends
12.I usually look at the dessert on the menu before I look for my dinner
13.I don't usually wake up before 9:30, 10 on a good day
14.I am a speeder all you slow drivers out there drive me crazy(just stay out of the fast lane please or the Hov lane)
15.I waste a lot of time on Facebook
16.Everytime my husband and I are in the car together we press seek and compete to see who knows the most artists
17.I think I can beat up anyone
18.I love staying at home with my kids and am very thankful for a husband who wants me to stay home
19.I hate sentimental emails with long boring stories that make you feel guilty for not forwarding them. I don't forward them and I don't feel guilty about it.
20.I make orange julius' at least 4-5 nights a week after the kids go to bed. It used to be chocolate shakes so we started making julius' so we felt more healthy
21.My favorite hockey player is John Michael Liles #4 on the Colorado Avalanche(yes hes hot) My husband was never jealous until we saw the Avalanche practice and he saw that I was acting like a 15 yr old girl. I snapped out of it. Hes on my fan page go check him out you will be a fan too ;) Love you Jeremy

Last weekend we were able to drive to Denver to celebrate my birthday, go to a friends wedding and visit my sister. We took the kids and thought the drive would be awful but they did awesome. The kids had a blast with my sister and didn't want anything to do with us. Jeremy and I are big hockey fans and bigger Colorado Avalance fans. So we were able to go watch them practice and last minute we got free tickets to the game. It was so awesome. Here are some pics.

New Posts to Come

So I know I need to move on from Christmas here... Really. I need more than a few seconds to sit at the computer and since one of my resolutions is to stop being so lazy and keep my house clean. I can't justify sitting down here and posting new pics until my house is clean! So just to keep you posted I promise I have things to share soon. See you after the house is clean!!! :)

Santa on Christmas Eve

Santa makes a stop at Grandma and Grandpa Telfords house on Christmas Eve. Kenz was very scared at first but finally got the nerve to sit on his lap. Cole was very excited to talk to Santa.

Christmas

There is so much going on for Christmas I just thought I would make a slide show of all the pictures. There were just too many to pick from. We had a Christmas. Jeremy and I have been finishing a room in our basement for the kids to have a playroom. Ok maybe the present was a little more for us. We have been telling the kids we have been "cleaning" it. Cole was fine with that answer. Kenz didn't quite believe us. She asked many times why she could hear tools then. We told her it was really dirty. As you can imagine there were many late nights in the last week trying to get it done. We were pretty much done we were just going to do the finishing touches Christmas Eve after we got home from the Telfords. Well..... things don't always go as planned. The stomach flu hit me at the family party. Yeah that was fun, but I didn't want to the kids to miss out I knew Santa would be visiting. So I concentrated on not losing it. Well we finally left their house and I wasn't too bad. Well the car must have done me in cause Jeremy had to pull over so I could well you know on the side of the freeway on ramp. A wonderful experience as I can see all the cars passing me as a I puke my guts out. So my poor husband was stuck putting it all together. We had so much to do still. But he wasn't going to let it go undone ! He was up until 2 am finishing. The kids were so excited. Santa left a note on the tree that he had left the presents in a new spot and they would have to find them. Kenz noticed the basment door open and that it had flooring. Jeremy had set up another tree and lights and the presents downstairs. Luckily I was feeling much better by this time! You know you have gotten your child the right presents when he yells "I'm so happy!" It was a great morning and I hope all you of out there enjoyed yours too! Its now 4 days after Christmas and as I write my kids are in the new playroom singing carols still. Its still cute but on the verge of annoying!Enjoy the slideshow....

I love Snow

Yea ! Winter is here. I am glad I live somewhere that the seasons change. My kids have been so excited to play in the snow. I would have to admitt I've been a little excited too. It hasn't felt like Christmas is near and now woo hoo!! They had so much fun playing

Married to my bestfriend for 7 years

Jeremy and I celebrated our anniversary of 7 years this weekend. He took me to Ruth's Chris for dinner. Then we stayed in Salt Lake for the night. Although we had to bring the baby it was nice to get away for a night. I am so lucky to have Jeremy in my life. We met when I was 15 he was 16. I had been on vacation when his family moved to Colorado. When I returned home my next door neighbor told me a new boy had moved into our ward and he was perfect for me, and that I should marry him. I met him at early morning seminary where another girl was already scratching his back. Lucky for me I caught his eye. I wasn't old enough to date but we "went out" for like 3 weeks and I hated him. I dumped him. He was way to into me I had never had someone like me so much. He always held my hand and he kissed me in the school hallways. It was really weird to me! Anyway 6 months later my family moved to Utah. The next summer Jeremy came to BYU for a golf camp with one of my best friends. We ended up hanging out and I realized maybe he wasn't that bad. We emailed back and forth our junior year and we even got to visit eachother once or twice. He came and took me to prom with his old friends and then decided that summer he was going to come live with his sister in Utah and finish his senior year here. Although we went to different schools and my mom had very strict rules about how much we could see eachother we dated all senior year.(And we were a little sneeky) Jeremy went on a mission to Kentucky and had to come home 6 months later for foot surgery and wasn't able to return. I waited for him!!! A whole 6 months. It was worth it :) We were married less than a year later and now we have 3 beautiful kids. Jeremy and I literally grew up together and he truly is my bestfriend. He works his cute little butt off for our family and I couldn't ask for anything more. I love him tons!!!
