Happy Birthday!!

The kids have a special message for Grandpa!!! We love you ! Thanks for all you do:)

First Day/Last Day

Today was the last day of Kindergarten for Kenz. I cant believe its over. The years just seem to get faster and faster. I put her in the same outfit as she wore for the first day so I could compare how much she had grown up. She loved Kindergarten so much but is excited for 1st grade too. She had a great teacher that taught her so much. Sometimes I'm surprised on the words she can read and spell. I was lucky enough to help in the class almost every week and I gained such an appreciation for how much teachers really do. I don't think I would have realized how awesome her teacher was and how hard she worked if I wasn't there. I'm glad I got to be so involved.

Dance Festival

Mackenzie got to participate in her 1st Dance Festival at school this year. It was so fun to watch. The kindergarteners went last so I got to watch all the grades, which was actually really fun. Since I have two callings in the ward I teach a large range of ages of girls in the ward. Besides the 1st graders I had a girl in every dance. The were all very cute, but I think the Kindergartners were one of the best dances. The theme for all the dances was superheros.

Mackenzie 6th Birthday

Finally Mackenzie's bday has arrived. This poor girl has been watching all of her friends have their birthdays all school year. She was so excited hers FINALLY came. She invited some of her friends over and we played a water balloon toss. She also specifically requested "Pin the Tail." I asked her what kind of cake she wanted and she said Tinkerbell. I also asked her what presents she wanted and she said just a tinkerbell toy and some clothes! What a good simple little girl. I asked her if she wanted any toys and she said no just the one. Of course she was plenty excited about all the great gifts she got from her friends. She got to bring a treat to her school class. I think she had a great day. Here are some highlights of the day.
