First Day of School

Although I'm not looking forward to the cool down of the weather. I was excited for school to start. My kids were bored and ready to have something else to do. Mackenzie is in 2nd grade this year and even though Cole is old enough to be in Kindergarten I am holding him back. It will be much better for him in the long run. Right now I don't think it will make a difference he is ready either way.

Cole's 5th Birthday

Cole was so excited for his birthday, and so am I. I am hoping 5 yrs old brings a new stage. Hopefully a better stage. Although he drives me crazy most days he was so good on his birthday.

Park City

Oops. This is out of order. We have a timeshare in Park City and so we took the kids up in May for a week. Its nice that it was close enough Jer could come down and work a little still. The kids and I just played at the swimming pool the whole time. We practically had the pool to ourselves.

4th of July

The 4th was a weird weekend since it was on a Sunday. Here is the traditional parade we have the Telfords. Adelyn had ripped all her decor off before the parade even started. Oh well.

Grandpa Telford playing the bagpipes behind Cole.

Daddy helping Adi she was too slow.

St. George

Jeremy and I went to St. George for a couple days with some friends, without kids. Woo hoo!! It was a blast. Its always nice to have no responsibilites but yourself for a couple days. Our friends let us stay in their condo so that is always great cause we didnt have to pay to stay. We did go Mesquite the first night because the hotel are so cheap and it had a great pool. So we played at the pool the first day and then headed up to St. George. We went to Tarzan at the Tuachan, golfed, shopped, and played games. I was excited to see my kids when I got home.:)

Enjoying the pool. Sorry no swimsuit shots, thats just not me :)

Tuachan entrance.
Waiting for the show to start

The incredible scenery behind the stage. They used the waterfall at the beginning of the show and tarzan came flying in from the rocks at one point too.

My Lehi Float

I have already posted these on Facebook but I am trying to do some journaling here, so here we go again. I was in charge of the float for our ward for the Lehi Round Up Parade. It was a ton of work but fun and it paid off when I won first place. I would like to note this was out of probably 40ish floats.I also had some amazing people to help me.

Denver Zoo

As I mentioned before we went to the Denver Zoo while we were visiting Denver. Here are some pics of the adventure.
